We actually did review this in Kona (2023-11-08) but it looks like this piece of feedback wasn't sent.

  1. Add motivation / identify users asking for this functionality
  2. Input from implementers to indicate whether they are willing/interested in spending the effort implementing it.

LEWG is supportive, but identifies that this will create more work down the pipe, therefore, asks for the input of the involved parties before making a binding decision.
