CWG 2024-06-27 in St. Louis: Instead of limiting the fix to the specification of partial ordering, the deduction rules are amended. That leads to surprising outcomes even when no partial ordering is involved. It is unclear whether EWG has fully appreciated the blast radius of the latter.

CWG suggests to limit the fix to an amendment of the partial ordering rules.

Needs eventual EWG confirmation.
