we should be able to create a finalized/submittable timesheet

A submittable timesheet would calculate the hours for each day. Then calculate the total, rounded to the nearest quarter hour (or lowest? gotta check what the most common practice is here). Then calculate the gross pay.

This timesheet would require headers for columns.

  • day (of the week)
  • date
  • time in (multiple, as needed)
  • time out (multiple, as needed)
  • work hours
  • overtime hours
  • sick hours
  • holiday hours
  • vacation hours
• pay period:
  • work hours total
  • overtime hours total
  • sick hours total
  • holiday hours total
  • vacation hours
  • rate
  • sub-total
  • total
