LAUSD shared student addresses but due to privacy concerns, they are only allowing us to extract a census block. Therefore, they shared the addresses but included a fake student identifier. The steps for us the following:
Geocode the addresses in the file (let me know if you need my research CC to pay for the geocoding)
Do some data quality checks on the addresses. Do they make sense? Perhaps randomly pick 100 and make sure they are right.
Send the geocoded file to LAUSD. LAUSD returns the census blocks with the student identifiers.
