Player error when playing some streams #473

When trying to watch some streams, the chat loads fine, but the video endlessly loads. Sometimes I get a toast saying something along the lines of “Player error, retrying…”, other times I get a freeze-frame with audio playing for a bit before loading again. Usually, it just loads forever. Audio only works fine. I am using the latest version from GitHub on LineageOS 20, but this has been occurring for a while.

I have not been able to determine for which streams this occurs. It also doesn't seem channel-specific, since I'm sometimes able to watch, whereas other times I'm unable to for the same channel.

try changing video quality. it might be only happening on high qualities like 1080p60

I tried that, still the same result. I have a feeling it might have something to do with the encoding of the streams.
