[5.x]: Crop tool is laggy in Firefox browser #15925

What happened?

Description

There is a difference in the performance of the cropping tool between browsers.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Image Editor for an image asset in both Chrome and Firefox
  2. Go to the Crop tab and resize the crop rectangle so it can be moved around inside the image canvas
  3. Drag the crop rectangle around the image

Expected behavior

Smooth movement regardless of browser

Actual behavior

In Chrome, the crop movement is smooth. In Firefox, the drag is laggy and sometimes requires multiple drag and drops to achieve the same placement as in Chrome.

I'm not sure if this is related but I've had a client complaining the crop tool is hard to use on touch devices.

I've just tried on an iPad with the latest version of Craft CMS and it is very inconsistent when you're dragging and cropping by dragging the corners.
