Some entries disappeared from the dashboard

Description

There 6 websites in the 1 Craft multisite installation. Grouped by 2 website to 3 groups. After 2 website were separated to 2 different groups and after some entries were re-saved we noticed that several entries disappeared. But these entries still in the database and they are not marked as deleted. I tried command resave/entries in CLI but disappeared entries still hidden.

Steps to reproduce

Create 3 websites.
Put them to 2 groups
Create channels fields and entries.
Create 3rd group and put one of website there.
Change and save changes in the entries of website in 3rd group

What are your sections’ Propagation Method settings set to?

Hi @brandonkelly, not sure, if this topic is still on your desk? @Bronskiy is our dev, who investigated in this problem and started this ticket and he should have replied to your question, via email to you? Just give me a hint, if you aware of this topic, if you need more input, or if there is a way, we can speed up things, maybe via another support level, as we need to launch our project asap?

Do you know exactly which sites were reassigned to which groups? If you could give me a list of each of your groups + sites, before and after the sites were shifted, I can try to reproduce on my end.

Hi @brandonkelly ... here some corrective input from non dev side ... also some entries in Spanish area are missing. This all, as these entries with two languages where connected before in GROUP 2 what is now just keeping Spain ES while new GROUP 4 is based on former Spain EN site.

So to be clear, the only thing that changed was that the “Spain ES” site was moved from Group 2 to Group 1?

No, this may be confusing in Nikolays graphic.

Here my try: Group 1 is like it was with two language sites Group 2 is just containing Spain ES now, before it had Spain ES and Spain EN, e. g. product entries where connected Group 3 is like it is, just deactivated Group 4 is now containing former Spain EN site

Problems appearing now in Group 2 and Group 4

Ah gotcha. So you created a new Group 4, and then moved “Spain EN” to it.
