The current lifecycle hook to manipulate content during authoring is minimal.
Describe the solution you'd like
A Groovy-based hook to intercept key item lifecycle events and allow the interceptor to modify the content item. Modifications may include:
Generate transformations of the content item
Update the content item
Notify/call external systems (integration)
Make sure any created artifacts (renditions/transformations) are made dependencies of referencing content item
Describe alternatives you've considered
Staying with what we have is no longer enough.
