Yes, they can create events that are only privately viewable. I cannot remember if they require approval or not. I would assume not, but you can test this and see ;-)
Nice, any chance that users are able to select existing (public) events to add to their personal calendar? That way a site member could choose events and plan their activities.
nope. sorry. That would be difficult to implement also. :-(

I'm not clear on what Personal Calendars allow users (who are in the Personal Calendar group) to do. Does it mean that a user can create events without approval that are only visible to themselves?
Please expand on how this feature is used in practice and what it can do. Thanks.
