Are you the author of the package?

No

Is the package on a specific repository?

GitHub

Please provide the URL of the package repository

https://github.com/wx-ecology/BaBA

Is there a dedicated website for the documentation (e.g. a pkgdown website)?

No, but there's a paper https://besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/1365-2664.13806

If you are the author of the package, does it pass CRAN check tests?

I don't know

Additional information

Briefly, can you describe the purpose of this package and how it fits into the Tracking CTV? This package conducts barrier behavior analysis (BaBA) that identifies and classifies animal movement near linear barriers (e.g. fences, roads, railroads, pipelines, rivers, etc.) into one of the following categories: Bounce, Quick Cross, Back-and-forth, Trace, Trap, Average Movement and unknown. This information can be used to examine permeabilities of barriers to animal movement.

In terms of the tracking workflow (see Figure in the CTV), where does the package fit? (Feel free to mention any particular functions and how they fit as well.) For now it doesn't have a vignette and I doubt it passes check tests. It could go in behavioral pattern identification, non-sequential classification since it seems to use simple rules without segmentation.

didn't pass CRAN tests. Package dependencies were missing from the DESCRIPTION file. You can check the check.log at checks/check_logs/BaBA_check.log for more details.
