Not all equipment and personnel are expected to be in short supply. a clear mapping of what equipment and what personnel will be in short supply at what stage of the crisis, are needed.

further, it would be useful to have a parametric model that can show supply shortages as a function of various ways in which the crisis unfolds ad also as a function of industrial manufacturing and import capabilities.

some example equipment include: Syringe pumps, infusion pumps, feeding systems – in general tools needs for care of patients in ICU, in addition to monitoring systems.
