Robotic delivery #8

Too much of interaction of the staff with isolated patients (many of which are only mildly discomforted by covid-19), involves the delivery of, food, medication and the like.

what is required is a simple robotic system which can:

  1. easily pass the isolation entrance, or at least be easily loaded without a nurse, etc, suiting up
  2. as autonomously as possible deliver medication, food to a patient.

Who can I get in touch with to understand requirement #1 (easily pass isolation entrance)? I am a robotics professor with plenty of students wishing to contribute.

this is maier fenster :)

i am trying to solve that problem. it is not easy getting answers form the people at the front line.

hope i have a better answer by sunday.

OK. I have a group of 10 students who already asked what they can do to help (this was before I found out about this need), and of course plenty of relevant knowledge and connections. Let me know whom to talk to.

galk is actually much further ahead than just talking to hospitals.
