Invoice Areas - Feature Request #360

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Im selling on different platforms and i want statistics on which platform i made more money.

Describe the solution you'd like I'm selling on different platforms like etsy and ebay. At the moment i have different invoide areas (im not sure if that is the correct translation). That means my invoice numbers are different per platform. E.g. ebay invoices start with EB-001... and my etsy invoices start with ET-001... With that i can get nice statistics at the end of the year.

@SeameX - It would be great if invoice field is customizable. I am not sure how it will happen but that seems to be the solution.

One possible implementation is made from your competitor (that is not actively maintained anymore) invoiceplane. In the settings you can create invoice groups: image image image

These groups can then be selected when creating invoices image

You can create different "customers" invoice them there and then select "report by customer" from the settings tab. Would that cover your case?
