What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Record a track
2. Upload to Google Earth

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See multiple segments instead of 1 segment

Add a 'sanity' filter on the start new segment after losing GPS connectivity 
when it is quickly restored
