Couldn't get this working - GPGME.decrypt fails as no such method - I suspect this may be just incompatible with gpgme 2.0.0 - In the meantime I've done a bit of a rewrite which I'm going to maintain as of 1.0.1 that uses the GPGME::Ctx methods which seems to work on gpgme 2.0.0. Ill push shortly, feel free to fork and make improvements :)

Yes, I was having problems with 2.0.0 and ended up using 1.0.8

Ah that explains it :-)
1.0.1 (just pushed) supports gpgme 2.0.0 - there may be better ways of doing it, but GPGME doesn't come with a whole heap of examples :)

I still have no idea why it's being returned as a string that looks like an array of with nil in its first element...
