What do you mean by set the priority? You want all messages from a certain
machine to have the same priority? Currently it will set the priority based on
the type of event being sent

This would be more of a server side than client side option. It kind of defeats
the purpose of the priority field, since the priority is meant to be message
specific. Is it possible for you to filter and/or modify events on your syslog
server?
Maybe if you explain to me the problem you are trying to solve we can find a
better solution.

You can filter out all non logon/logout messages on the syslog server.
What I can try to add to the utility is a way to only send messages matching
certain filters in the ignore file.
