Incorrect server seeds #85

This displays a hole nother seed with my server seed inputed please fix this!

When you copy/paste the seed into Amidst, you can sometimes unintentionally insert a space character at the beginning or end of the seed, and Amidst doesn't strip that out, so check for extra spaces because just having a single space at the end of the seed will completely change the map.

Another possibility is the world type might be different, e.g. set to large biomes on the server but not in Amidst. That can be set in Amidst using Options → World type menu.

If the server world has been running for a long time, the world might've been generated by an older version of Minecraft with an older terrain generation system, in which case create a Minecraft profile that uses a similar version to what the server first ran, and select that profile into Amidst.

If the server world was not generated by vanilla Minecraft then you'll be out of luck, as I get the impression Amidst only works on un-modded Minecraft.
