Square shadow on rounded dropdown menu items

Many system apps that are not fully adapted to the material you interface have a square shadow over rounded elements.

Basically in three dots drop down old standart menu (dialer app, messages app, clock app, calculator, even settings app ... ) (Calendar and files apps generally have a squared menu, but this is not relevant to this problem.)

So strange. Why do I have rounded menu list is settings and you have squared ? :-)

I got it. It is google clock on your screenshot, but in my case it has same issue

I have a suspicion that I was misunderstood. Tap on a menu item to make a shadow appear instead of just opening the menu.
