We should discuss this with @ericsteuer and Affinity Bridge.
@simeonoriko Can you tell us a bit more about this here?
Just seeing this. Need a place to aggregate events from Chapters around the world. Aim is to have one place for anyone to see what CC events are happening around the world and how people can attend. Feature request. Not urgent but would be nice to have.
@simeonoriko anything further on this? Many people have been wanting something of this sort for CC events.
Hi @Veethika This is something we're hoping to do but it's not a priority at this time. @claudioruiz can speak more to this.
@Veethika @simeonoriko yeah, I like this idea, but it's, unfortunately, it's not on top in our priority list considering our very few dev resources. Happy to receive any help for implementing it.
@claudioruiz I'll try my best to share a document soon with wireframes and interaction rules
https://invis.io/F6KKWGRVJPD#/302180866_home @claudioruiz @simeonoriko please look at this prototype and see if this model works, I've introduced an 'events' tab in the primary menu.
@Veethika thanks for this! But wait, are we talking about the CC homepage or the Network Page? Because if it's the former, this is out of my plate ;)
And all of this depend on how many events we may be able to identify around the network. So, it's less a matter of tool, and more a matter of network/community.
@claudioruiz my rationale behind putting it on the homepage was to make it accessible for non-members, which might help us increase community strength through event participation.
But there's also an alternate idea brewing for a calendar for the network page. It could also have a system in place that'd also let members add an event to the calendar besides fetching it from there. Since it'd be only accessible to members, content moderation would automatically be taken care of. How do you feel about it? (I can work on the flow this week)
Moving this to post-redesign issues now that we've pushed the redesign live.
@hugosolar to check if this is already implemented in new design or not.
I don't know what is this.
