Directory Gadget does not respond to touch swipes with new Chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add Directory Gadget to a Presentation that is NOT hiding the mouse pointer
2. Ensure the Spreadsheet used has enough data in it so that it scrolls
3. Run on a Display using recent version of Chrome/Chromium
4. Try to swipe the Directory on a Display forcing it to go through the data

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Data should scroll in response to the touch.  Instead, the interaction is not 
responded to.  By comparison, you can make the swipe action using a mouse.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
