Text Scroller Gadget does not respond to touch swipes with new Chrome #724

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add Text Scroller to a Presentation that does NOT have Hide Mouse Pointer 
enabled
2. Add sufficient text so that the Gadget will scroll in a Presentation
3. Run on a Display using the lastest version of Chrome/Chromium
4. Using a touchscreen, try to 'swipe' the data to force moving it on screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The text should respond to the touch swipe.  Instead, it continues as before.  
In contrast, you can perform the action using a mouse.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

As per Donna's Journal update form 30-10-2012, Byron states that we are not 
going ot support horizontal swiping, adn therefore we are marking this as 
wontfix.
