Events Gadget is no longer interactive on Windows or Linux. #788

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add the Events Gadget to a Presentation that you mean to be interactive.
2. Notice that you cannot interact with the Events Gadget, but you can interact 
with other Gadgets in the Presentation.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You should be able to interact with the Events Gadget.

Tested on Windows. Let me know if Linux is still a problem.

This is now working on Linux perfectly, except on Windows the scroll bar is not 
working:

You can swipe in the Gadget on Windows, however it is pretty terrible and 
doesn't respond well.

Removed scrollbar and switched to swipe.

Failing this due to the poor quality of the swiping in the Windows Player as 
shown in this video: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10551890/VID_20121114_172929.mp4

The Linux player does not exhibit these problems.

Works fine for me. Make sure you've picked up the latest Gadget changes by 
clearing the cache and restarting the Player.
