The RSS List gadget should validate the feed URL #817

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Configure the gadget with an invalid RSS Feed URL.
2. Save the gadget settings.
3. Notice the gadget takes an invalid RSS feed URL.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It is expected the gadget would validate that the URL entered is a valid feed 
that could be played in the gadget:
1. The URL exists, 
2. it's an RSS feed, and 
3. the RSS format is supported).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
