What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the Directory Gadget with a Pop Up Card set on a Windows and Linux 
Display. Notice that when you interact with the Pop Up Card functionality, it 
is more reliable on the Linux box than on the Windows box.

It took a bit longer, but I got this to occur on a Linu xDisplay as well.
