npm install fails #24

I'm installing pointing to the python2, as it tries to run py2 code if I just run:

I have node-gyp@9.0.0 installed. I've tried all the sugestions to fix node-gyp, to no avail.

The error exists because node-gyp is locked to version 3.8.0 in the project's package-lock.json . Updating it should fix the issue (like I did in the PR mentioned above).
