Mention that "Select Native App Instead" button is deprecated and instruct devs not to use it #44

The docs should be clear that "Select Native App Instead" is deprecated and should not be used any more. It should mention that native apps can now be listed directly in the wallet selector by doing X (linking to the native wallet docs) and that it's much easier for them to implement that way too! We should probably say that "Select Native App Instead" will be removed in the near future so the new mechanism should be adopted by any existing wallet that was using it previously.

I've only ever seen the "Select Native App Instead" in screenshots. What triggers it appearing?

I'm happy to update those screenshots and highlight the correct course of action--if that's all that's needed here.

The button only shows if feature detection on the platform indicates that Web Share is available and can share the necessary text.

The "Select Native App Instead" button has now been hidden on all browsers, so I'm closing this as a no-op.
