[BUG] Initial selected icon is not removed

Describe the bug When you update the selected icon, the initial selected icon is not removed.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Change selected icon

Expected behavior the selected icon is displayed and the logo and favicon are rendered
