Unable to get any streams to work #13

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Tried this stream http://waym.wayfm.com/streams/waym_low.pls The player 
times out though 
2. I can open the stream inside the VLC player with no trouble
3. I tried upping the time out to 100seconds still trouble

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 Anything

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest 8.0.8  Windows 7 

Please provide any additional information below.

It would be nice to have some steps for troubleshooting.

Please use the source stream (http://stream1.wayfm.com:80/waym_low.mp3) 
directly.
This stream can be played in a Mediaplayer or VLCplayer instance.
