cURL error 6: getaddrinfo() thread failed to start #182

I've installed wp-cli-valet-command but keep running into a cURL 6 error. I am not sure whether this is a Valet for Windows problem, or some sort of other configuration issue.

wp valet new newsitename Don't go anywhere, this should only take a second... Error: RuntimeException: Failed to get url 'https://api.wordpress.org/core/version-check/1.7/?locale=en_US': cURL error 6: getaddrinfo() thread failed to start
