First of all thanks for the great work. I'm using this package in many projects and it always save me a lot of trouble.
The are some issues or improvements that could be done. Some of them have already issues. I commented my solution. Maybe you could review them?
There are also some open pull request with fixes / improvements. Could you take a look?
