No..... my project relies on angular 7.0.... leaving a huge gap in support for Major angular versions like ^7.00 isn't good for people who use your package
I agree with @moscoso. There's people (including me) that are not willing or not able to jump to angular 8 just yet. Some dependencies are already a hell to upgrade or, given that they are not updated, to replace. Please don't put us through that if you already have the solution.

Upgrade to Angular 7 and Rxjs 6. Please let me know if any additional information is needed.
