Points to note: 1) The Minor and Major brackets 2) Minor alarms latch to show a device has been moved since last local save. 3) .STAS record fields are given if case reactions for alarm handling in tuning screens: Green, good; Yellow, Minor + Latch(Ref#2); Red, Major; White, Communication Link error; Orange, Umbrella error case assuming its not one of the aforementioned. 4) Setting a value re-adjusts the Major (Red) alarm thresholds (brackets), Clearing a devices alarms additionally re-adjusts the Minor (Yellow) alarm thresholds (brackets). NOTE: This is a preliminary attempt at a list describing alarm functionality on the tuning screens alone. A discussion on how they currently do, or should in the future, work is meant to happen in this thread. Once Issues related to this discussion can be singled out they may likely receive their own Issue Thread.

5) These values and actions deal with the epics records. When a device is cleared and hi/lo re-set, this is done globally. All tuning screens see the minor latch when changes are made and when any one of them clears it, they all turn display green.
