Here we analyze the EAM dataset, we will see what happened with the firms during and after a large devaluation. To be more precise, we will analyze the currency crisis of 2014 in Colombia.

Here are the updated conversion factors for CO2 emissions in kilograms (kg) per unit of fuel or gas, including coal use measured in kilograms:

1. Coal:

• Mineral coal: Approximately 2.86 kg CO2/kg of coal.
• Coke coal: Approximately 3.14 kg CO2/kg of coal.
• Charcoal (vegetal coal): Approximately 3.67 kg CO2/kg of coal.

2. Liquid Fuels:

• Crude oil (Castilla, Cicuco): Approximately 10.35 kg CO2/gallon.
• Diesel oil (ACPM): Approximately 10.21 kg CO2/gallon.
• Fuel oil: Approximately 10.68 kg CO2/gallon.
• Gasoline: Approximately 8.89 kg CO2/gallon.
• Kerosene: Approximately 9.57 kg CO2/gallon.

3. Gases:

• Natural gas (Cubic meter): Approximately 1.93 kg CO2/cubic meter.
• Propane (LPG, Pound): Approximately 1.54 kg CO2/pound.

These factors now include the emissions for coal usage in kilograms. To calculate CO2 emissions in kilograms, multiply the amount of fuel or gas by the corresponding emission factor.
