There aren't many Linux users at the moment (only aware of one, actually), so I'm not sure time will be spent on other package management that then would need to be maintained too.
I'd say it's more likely that I stop offering Linux packages at all before offering any other format. We'll see.
Would you have anything against it if I would maintain the flatpak version then?
Since 1.3.0 (8eb86d54c31), an AppImage version is now offered.
Is there any interest in a Flatpak build? Either via (Co-)maintaining it, or just in general? I'd happily provide you a flatpak manifest and guide you through instructions.
(For those unaware of Flatpak, it's essentially a sandboxed with Android-like permission distribution format for Linux which is distribution independent. Flatpaks are often the only way to use applications on immutable distributions, like SteamDecks' SteamOS, Fedora Silverblue or OpenSuse's MicroOS. And due to them being published onto flathub, they also have the advantage of being downloadable from "App Stores" instead of needing to search, download, and extract random zips from the internet.)
