General cleanup #180

@harsh183 So as agreed I bundled a few minor cleanups into this PR.

fixed a broken link (since you mentioned you have a tool for checking broken links I just fixed what I had found already)
remove two outdated entries (Women in Tech Summit--event from 2016/2019 and Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit)
reorganized the list to be alphabetical and in the same order as listed in the table of contents (TOC)
some minor copy-edits in the Contributor file to improve clarity and style

Awesome I really appreciate this! Thanks for the contribution guide fix too. I think next will be taking care of some of long standing issues on old resource requests.

yea keep me posted if you want a hand with something. I was also planning to propose adding a hackathon section but I'm still collecting resources for that and a lot of the high school level hackathons don't have websites that stay up consistently it looks like
