No longer copy "Preservation Metadata" to Access. #70

During the back-end of "Import Into Access", the current Smelter tool will copy the metadata record in the METS dmdSec to the same place that "Load Metadata" stores Access Metadata.

I believe this will generate confusion, and encourage staff to put Access Metadata instead of Preservation Metadata into Preservation.

We will also have DC-only in Preservation (heading toward Archivematica) and MARC-only in Access (Heading towards Blacklight-MARC, FOLIO, etc). We don't want to be bringing new DC records into Access, and it is probably best not to have a crosswalk as part of "Import into Access".

"Import into Access" should be understood to only be about images, and we may even want to have the title become "Import Images into Access".

Can you explain this to me in a different way?

Currently I use 'Packaging' for images into the TDR, I also load DC issue metadata via the 'OAIS Packaging Database' option in Load Metadata.

I only use 'Access' in Load Metadata as a destination when I'm adding MARC records.

I don't quite follow the Import in Access issue...

Please use `Access' in Load Metadata as a destination for all record types, not only MARC. It is a step to always include after "Load Images into Access".
