Should make a Visual Studio 2010 specific solution file and project file like 
you did for the SlimDX project.

Not too important.

Added a Visual Studio 2010 solution and project file. The project files are not 
synchronized so any files added/removed from one project need to be manually 
added/removed from the other project. Not a big deal for such a large gain.
