Anime that has been deleted from my list (but wasn’t explicitly removed from custom list) on Anilist site still shows up in list on the app. When I first ran into this bug the anime only appeared in the custom list and swipe to delete would not remove it. When I tried to reproduce it the anime appeared in both my custom list AND in my normal anime list (still in plan to watch) even though it wasn’t present on the site. If I swipe to delete from my main "Anime List" view it removes it from the main "Anime List" but the entry still remains in my custom list (and swipe to delete from the custom list does nothing). I was able to resolve it by resetting the local database and having it re-retrieve all the data from Anilist directly.
How can you reproduce it?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Via website add anime to plan to watch and to custom list
Refresh list in app to make sure it shows up
"Delete” the anime from my list without explicitly unchecking the custom list
Anime still shows up in my custom list
What's the expected behavior?
I would expect the anime to be removed from all lists as it appears to be on the Anilist website
How reproducible is this issue?
I ran into this issue naturally one time, and then in testing was able to reproduce it twice, I did not try further as it happened both times.
Device Information
iOS Version: 17.5.1
MyAniList Version: 3.2.5
