[Feature Request] Option to skip conversion of PDFs #117

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I tried to import a textbook I have in PDF. The conversion to epub is quite bad and loses lots of formatting.

Describe the solution you'd like It would be good to have an option to not convert PDFs.

Describe alternatives you've considered Run regular Calibre and import it there.

I've found that if you use the Upload option in the web interface, it keeps the native file format, but this is cumbersome compared to the mass ingest method. The ability to set he ingest to keep the original format as well as the converted, or to disable conversion altogether, would be very helpful. I switched from Calibre-Web to CWA because of the auto-ingest feature, but being unable to disable the auto-conversion is frustrating.

Hi @knw257, this functionality is currently being developed for the next version in away that will allow users to select which formats should be excluded from conversion & import themselves
