I experienced the exact same problem on Windows 10 Pro x64 SOE v.2.2.9 1803. This computer is in a corporate environment and joined to a domain and I am not able to change group policies for my account.
I exported the certificate for cxvfs.sys to a X.509 CER file and ran certutil -verify on the exported CER file. There were no errors, policies verified, and checks passed. I added the certificate to my local store. (I even rebooted.) However, when I run "net start cxvfs" I still get error 577. This is for Crossmeta FUSE 2.0.3
Hello,
During installation, a window appears with errors "VerInstallFile retval 0x800". I think this is due to the fact that the V: drive is not created. I execute the command "sc query cxvfs". The conclusion says that the service is stopped. When I execute "net start cxvfs", I get an error 577: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source."
I tried to disable driver signature verification through group policies, also specified the parameter through bcdedit - it did not help. My configuration: Windows 10 Pro Workstation, Crossmeta FUSE 2.0.3
