User activity monitoring feature #404

Hi

By default, the user activity monitoring feature is active. This is an issue for Eclipse users: they don't accepts to be tracked without their official approval !

Either we add a button to turn on/off this feature in the plugin and it should be turned off by default, or we isolate the code related t this feature in a separate Eclipse plugin letting the developer the choice to install or not this plugin in his environment.

In the new version it is disabled by default. We will update the official repo after we finished the implementation of an ongoing feature (migration support). Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks Gergo for your reply. When do you plan to provide a new version of the plugin? I'm asking because I already wait for #339 to start using your new code ;-) Thanks

Currently, we have some issues with the KB, which hinder the completion of the above features. We already began discussing it with @md2manoppello, and it seems to be solved, but we have to update and check with our server. We plan to ship these on the 21st of October in the worst-case scenario.

Great fix! Nevertheless, I don't see how I can now decide to activate it. The plugin only tells me that it is deactivated: image but when I have access to the list of events, there is no way to activate them. Did I miss something? image
