Can only open Preferences (Edit Menu at Top) once per session #1085

I can only open up the preferences once when I use it. If I want to open up preferences a second time, I have to close the application and reopen it.

I use ubuntu linux 21.04 Xiphos 4.2.1 (gtk3 webkit2)

I really like Xiphos. thank you for the great work

that's an odd one; i've never seen that before. i just experimented (fedora 33) and i have no problem opening prefs, changing something, closing it, re-opening, changing it back, closing it, and re-opening again.

anyone else seen this?

No problem with ubuntu 20.04, and xiphos 4.2.1 from the ppa. Try to remove xiphos profil. ~/.xiphos
