• 20 July 2022 - in committee meeting, Trustee Len Simon mentioned that the village was looking into a sidewalk connecting Shoprite Plaza to the Croton Point Ave & S Riverside intersection. After years of inaction despite repeated requests, the reason they are now considering it is because some employees of Cappricios and other business on S Riverside have complained about a lack of parking, so the goal is to connect the parking near Shoprite to the business area further up S Riverside.

July 2023 - the Croton DPW added a section of sidewalk on the Eastern side of South Riverside, from the edge of the podiatrist's parking lot to Straddles, despite the committee generally having advocated for sidewalks on the other (Western) side. Committee member AB pointed out room for improvement in the work.
