OnJune 24, BPC Chairperson Schuerman emailed Mayor Pugh to ask to change the 'No Parking" sign outside Giovanni's to a "No Stopping/No Standing/No Parking" sign since sometimes people in trucks stop outside the deli to pick up sandwiches. given that Croton Point Avenue is a narrow busy road, they are essentially blocking a lane of traffic (and a lane or bike traffic in particular) and creating a hazardous situation. A 'No Parking' sign is insufficient given that it still allows people to stop or stand in the lane.
On July 21, Mayor Pugh responded and said "We should be able to do this."
