Committee members in the past have said that Croton needs to come up with rules for where and how electric vehicles such as unicycles, scooters, and skateboards, can move through town. Here are my suggested steps:
Determine what the current rules are for motorized and non-motorized vehicles in Croton and New York State generally;
Examine rules in other localities that have attempted to regulate this new generation of vehicles, including electric scooters, electric unicycles, electric skateboards;
Discuss our options;
Present our recommendations to the Board of Trustees for approval;
