@ndobromirov The terms of use for CrowdRiff include a provision for tracking data & analytics - If you could have your client reach out to our customer support team, we can work to resolve this issue.
Hi was there a solution found here? I'm seeing issues with Google Analytics tracking. I have my UA code on the page and then a duplicate UA code coming from Crowdriff. Is there a way to remove the UA code coming from crowdriff? I believe it is causing attribution issues with Google Analytics. Thanks
As far as I know there is no solution yet.]
The CrowdRiff service is non-GDPR compliant as it is. Sites embedding the plug-in have no control over the tracking that it's causing.
@ndobromirov @Mitch619 Hi folks, the CrowdRiff UA code has been removed
Will ping back here, once i validate that :)
The component is showing a gallery, the problem is that it is also adding google trackers used somehow by the CrowdRiff system.
The issue is that due to GDPR compliance unless people opt-in for tracking, this tracking should not be used.
What is needed is a way to control the tracking behavior for the component.
