What US data sources are recommended? #15

Working on a geolocationy part of a new app and came across your project. Can you recommend a good US public data source (Census)?

I am not really sure what you mean by this. Can you please be more specific as to what you are trying to find?

I'm looking for official zip code data that lists city and state names with the zip codes.... I think I found something like this previously but having hard time finding it again now.

all of our data for zippopotamus came from geonames.org's database.
