Single button in center. There is the bottom name sign, the up sign continues up and down direction. Signs to the left or right are identical in functionality and can do left or right movement. A green (or some other arrow) is used to determine which directional sign in active. When a left or right sign is clicked the green arrow moves to that sign, when the up to down sign in active the green arrow moves there. When the button is activated the system checks which sign has the green arrow, and pulls the direction information from that sign. Perhaps destination floor in green?
