7 years ago Doesn't seem necessary anymore, since reassembling is pretty fast now. Also, this would require us to keep track of which country we are dealing with again, which we don't need in the current version, since every country is a separate dataset.
Good idea to reduce management overhead. Instead of individual countries, work e.g. with (sub-) continents. This should not affect the performance of the simulation, but it should reduce the amount of time it takes to re-assamble the world map after the simulations.
