Check out literature on micro simulations #7

Maybe the issue tracker is not the best place for this kind of note, but we should definitely take a look at this research area. They are working at a different scale – e.g., trying to simulate the effects of policy changes on individual households – but the idea is very similar to what we are doing.

Here's a (possibly) useful reference. Also, we should check out Graham Clarke's (from Leeds) work on Microsimulation. He does a lot of this stuff, and was my external examiner on my PhD thesis :wink:

Werner pointed me to Robin Lovelace, also from Leeds.

Good suggestion. Also, Robin does a lot of R (and possibly Python) stuff. Maybe he'll have some code we can 'borrow' :wink:
